Camino Plan is run by a small group of cofounders who have all walked the Camino multiple times. We remember exactly what it felt like to be curious about the Camino, open ten tabs of vague travel sites, and still feel unsure where to begin.

Before our first Caminos we did what most people do. We searched Google, clicked through glossy tour pages, and tried to piece together a plan from blogs and forums. Most of the big travel sites were light on details, heavy on marketing language, and came with price tags that felt more like a luxury group tour than a simple walk.

So we started planning our own last 100 km routes from scratch. Stage by stage, town by town, we built clear daily plans with real distances, likely walking times, and towns that actually made sense. Over several Caminos we refined those plans, tested different routes, and learned what makes the final stretch to Santiago feel smooth instead of stressful.

After our last Camino in May 2025 we realised we kept having the same thought: there should be an easier way for English speaking walkers who want the Camino, but do not want to guess on every detail or pay for an all inclusive tour. That is why we launched Camino Plan for people like us who prefer a simple, specific plan they can book themselves.

Camino Plan focuses on one thing only: clear, realistic plans for the last 100 km to Santiago so you can spend your energy walking, not worrying about what comes next.
Real Camino experience

Your plan is based on recent, real walks, not second hand summaries. We know which stages feel long at the end of the day, which towns are quieter, and where it helps to add or remove a rest day.

Clear, specific details

Each plan includes daily start and finish towns, distances, estimated walking times, and suggested lodging types. No vague language about “typical stages” or “example itineraries” that change later.

You stay in control

We design the route and structure. You book your flights and stays in your own name, at your own budget. That keeps costs predictable and lets you keep control of every reservation.
